about
Silhouettes is the first single to be released from our upcoming second album. Silhouettes was written during one of Melbourne's two Covid 19 lock downs and was recorded at Tintern Studios in West Preston.
The track is a reflection on turning despair to hope, gloom to optimism. Furthermore, it is a track about keeping your memories nurtured with fresh perspectives, no matter how painful.... Because, silhouettes don't fade on the outline.

LYRICS
Who does it involve I don't know
but it's a story that goes something like this
Paper, scissors, rock is so what it's not
cause chance is just a question of timing
Consider what is interesting
details filled with archetypes
Arrows and gold, lightning bolts
and the darkest clouds are bellowing
So what don't stop?
At this point of suffering
One step for you, is a giant one for mankind
I was a chalk outline
but the ground was none too fine
I was a chalk outline
but the ground was none too kind
Blue lips, dried kiss
tied in plastic altruist
Her hips, sunken
soft lighted and shiverless
Who's this, light years?
It was my privilege
but silhouettes don't fade on the outline
So what don't stop?
At this point of suffering
One step for you, is a giant one for mankind
I was a chalk outline
but the ground was none too fine
I was a chalk outline
but the ground was none too kind
I was walking a line
not likely to find
a silhouette, faded on the outline
If I had not woken up tomorrow
Who would see those faces looking down at me?
Blue lips, dried kiss
tied in plastic altruist
Her hips, sunken
soft lighted and shiverless
Who's this, light years?
It was my privilege
but silhouettes don't fade on the outline
